Founded in 1921, the American Stock Exchange (Amex) is the second largest organized securities complex in the United States. The Exchange began when the curbstone brokers, "Curbstone Market", moved indoors and began trading at the New York Curb Market. Kellogg Capital Group, our Amex operation, is the largest specialist firm on the floor. We trade over 250 equities and represent 30% of the total issues on the Exchange. The Amex provides our clients a centralized market structure with access to deep pools of liquidity.
